KOV’R KOTE

PREMIUM NONMETALIC THREAD COMPOUND FOR USE ON DRILL STRINGS, TUBING & CASING

KOV’R KOTE is an economical, multifunctional, nonmetallic thread compound. High strength polymers, graphite and other naturally occurring, extreme pressure and anti-wear additives lock together under pressure resist galling, seizure and downhole makeup. KOV’R KOTE’s exceptionally high film strength, 1000 kgf measured by ASTM D-2596, 4-Ball EP test, is among the highest in the industry for nonmetallic compounds. It well suited for use on drill strings in any drilling environment and for bottom hole assemblies in most drilling situations.

ADVANTAGES
• For use on both shouldered and interference threads
• Nonmetallic
• Sticks to wet joints
• Contains additives for rust, corrosion and oxidation protection

KOV’R KOTE is designed to work as an anti-seize compound on shouldered connections, a running and sealing compound on interference threaded connection and as a storage coating for all types of threaded connections.

KOV’R-KOTE® GEOTHERMAL was designed by JETLUBE to provide a nonmetallic product with the same frictional properties as Z-50. Based on the same patented Polymer Chemistry used to develop POW’R-KOTE®, KOV’R-KOTE GEOTHERMAL is an economical, multifunctional, nonmetallic tool joint compound that can be used in high-temp wells. High-strength polymers, graphite, and other naturally-occurring, extreme-pressure, and anti-wear additives lock together under pressure to resist galling, seizure, and downhole makeup. KOV’R-KOTE GEOTHERMAL’s exceptionally high film strength (1000 kgf measured by ASTM D-2596, 4-Ball EP Test) is among the highest in the industry for nonmetallic compounds. This makes it well suitedfor use on drill strings in any drilling environment and for bottom hole assemblies in many drilling situations.*
